The next generation of Identity

The pre-DIDW Identity Gang meeting had many new faces and some good dialogue and I met a number of people that I had only read about. I had the pleasure of sitting beside Jamie Lewis, who politely laughed at my side bar comments. (Thanks Jamie!)

Most of the conversation I had heard before, but my fingers hit the keyboard when Kim Cameron started listing his system goals. Here they are:

1. Claims based
2. Protocol Agnostic
3. Claims transformers
4. Consistent user experience

I agree with (1) and (4). I think (2) is going to be a real challenge, and I am confused as to how you can scale (3). More comments when Microsoft actually releases something concrete to comment on. :)
